Through the volunteer program in our black home you will gain valuable knowledge and experience, both on contemporary art as well as the whole process of work in Lauba . Volunteering Programme in Lauba House, through work in various activities, provides an opportunity for young people to gain practical experience, as well as get acquainted with the functioning of one of the most important private collection of contemporary art.
Those who are interested can sign up until 31st of January, 2016 until midnight.
Volunteering programme is intended to candidates who have completed their studies in humanistic, artistic or economic orientation, or are in the final year of studies. We want to create a team of people from various fields from art history, fine arts, design, architecture through philosophy, sociology, pedagogy, communication, directing, filming until economy. We want to gather all these people who have different interests for contemporary art and related programs.
Working hours in Lauba during the exhibition is from 14:00 until 22:00 during the week and on Saturdays 11:00 until 22:00 as well. Lauba is closed on Sundays. Working hours of participants in Laubas volunteering programme is three to four times a week for four hours a day. Each participant volunteers according to their interests and obligations towards Lauba, depending on the pre-determined schedule.
The program is voluntary work and lasts for three months. The program begins on Wednesday, 28th of September and starts with opening meeting and signing voluntary agreements (up to three months long). First two weeks volunteers will work in shifts with experienced volunteers from the previous programme and will be guided by them, to show how gallery works. After successfully completing the program of volunteering, volunteers will receive a certificate of volunteering and recommendations.
Before arriving at signing of the contract, candidates are encouraged to prepare and familiarize themselves with its collection, exhibitions, and artists with whom Lauba cooperates.

2. Motivation letter should not contain more than 3000 characters, including spaces. It is recommended that it's simple letter form that clearly states your motivation and interest in the application. We need to know in which are of work you're specifically interested in: workshops for children, guided tours, working on the website, documentation, public relations, documentation work, filming and so on.
3. CV should be properly formatted: it should be given a list of relevant information related to the education of candidates, work experience and skills. Recommended European CV format.
Incomplete, faxed and send by traditional mail applications will not be considered. Those candidates will not be informed about receiving applications by Lauba Team.
